JDownload is a download manager, which can be installed onto a homepage.
Users do not have to install extra software, but can start using the download manager instantly. It is meant for large downloads or downloads which span over a number of files. When users have to download multiple files, the JDownload download manager can help save time. The webmaster can dynamically create a list of files for users, so the only thing what the user has to do, is to start the download. He might optionally choose another target directory, or select/unselect single files, which he doesn't want to download.
